Welcome Kaylin Strauser-Curtis, DO
Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes board-certified physician Kaylin Strauser-Curtis, DO, to its medical staff.
Dr. Strauser-Curtis joins the teams at Penn Highlands Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, located at 265 Holiday Inn Road, Route 68, in Clarion; 21911 Route 119 in Punxsutawney; and 761 Johnsonburg Road, Suite 310, in St. Marys.
Dr. Strauser-Curtis is a fellowship-trained specialist, conferring upon her the highest level of education and training in her field. She provides patients with comprehensive care and leading-edge treatments and procedures.
Common treatments and procedures include joint injuries, such as dislocations; overuse injuries, including stress fractures; tendonitis; osteoarthritis; joint injections; ultrasound-guided diagnosis; concussion diagnosis and treatment; pain block for knee pain; hip pain; shoulder pain; minimally invasive tendon procedures; tennis elbow; golfers elbow; plantar fasciitis; Achilles tendonitis; orthobiologic injections; stem cell, platelet-rich plasma “PRP;” prolotherapy; carpal tunnel release (CTR); peripheral nerve stimulator (Sprint); cryoneurolysis (Iovera); micro-invasive trigger finger release; and minimally invasive Tenotomy Utilizing Tenex (Tenjet).
Dr. Strauser-Curtis is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie. She completed her residency in family medicine and fellowship in sports medicine at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, American Osteopathic Association and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
