Welcome Jena Schellhammer, PA-C

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified physician assistant Jena Schellhammer, PA-C, to its medical staff.

Jena joins the emergency department teams at Penn Highlands Huntingdon, located at 1225 Warm Springs Avenue in Huntingdon, and Penn Highlands State College, located at 239 Colonnade Boulevard in State College.

Jena has more than a decade of clinical experience and is here to provide expert care if you or a loved one is experiencing a serious injury or illness.

Common treatments and procedures include incision and drainage, joint reduction, fracture splinting, laceration repair, suture removal and trephination.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Jena practiced at People One Health in Altoona, UPMC Altoona Emergency Department in Altoona and Lebanon Emergency Physicians in Lebanon.

Jena earned her Master of Physician Assistant Science and Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Saint Francis University in Loretto.
