Let’s Talk Women’s Health
Penn Highlands Healthcare is kicking off 2025 with a Women's Health Speaker Series at the Punxsutawney Community Medical Building. During the free, three-part series, Penn Highlands Healthcare physicians and providers will present educational programs on timely women's topics.
The programs will be held the second Tuesday of the month from January through March from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Punxsutawney Community Building which is located at 21911 Route 119 in Punxsutawney.
The topics include:
- January 14, 2025 -- "Understanding the Importance of Breast Care: Preventive, Screenings and Treatments" -- Presenters: Kristina Brown, DO, FACOG, a board-certified physician who practices obstetrics and gynecology, and Suzanne Iorfido, DO, Chief of Breast Imaging.
- February 11, 2025 -- Leaking Bladder Treatments: Everything to Know About Incontinence: -- Presenters: Kristina Brown, DO, FACOG, and Ashley Parsons, MSN, FNP, NP-C, IBCLC, a certified registered nurse practitioner who provides obstetric and gynecological care.
- March 11, 2025 -- "The Stages of a Woman's Life: From Screenings to Maternity to Menopause" -- Presenters: Dr. Kristina Brown and Ashley Parsons.
Everyone who attends all three programs will receive a complimentary gift.
